The hardest part of the work was the time I had to leave. Many would describe it as any unpaid job, which involves spending time doing something that aims to benefit others. Through volunteer work I began to see that the true joy in life was not pleasing me, but in pleasing others. Museums are quite an essential part in discovering a community of the City, including Museum of main Street, Museum of Art, Museum of Dentistry. This notion extends to volunteering for an organization, or for anything, without being paid. I advise and consult on various questions, organize meetings, excursions, celebrations and festivals for international students. For the most part these children came from low-income families, whose parents could not afford expensive day care facilities. Volunteering gives an opportunity to find out something new about cultures of other countries. It so happened that the boys that would stay close to me were the ones without a father or male role model in the home. The work held is of the following kinds: presentations of the history of the city, outstanding people of the city, exhibits in the city, meetings, seminars on the topics connected with social life of Ann Arbor, excursions aim of which is an acquaintance with culture, customs and traditions of the state and the country. Life is short and we all die, so time is of the essence. I have been playing percussion and singing since I was a child. In many ways, volunteering seems to add to the clock rather than take away from it.

Sometimes the delineation between the two is a sharp line. People who help others are likely to meet an array of people they may have not otherwise have met if not for giving their time to an organization, person or cause.
